Discover The World Of Weapons
A telescope (telescope) is an optical instrument that uses lenses or mirrors and other optical devices to observe distant objects. It uses the refraction of light through a lens or light reflected by a concave mirror so that it enters a small aperture and converges to an image, and then passes through a magnifying eyepiece and is seen, also known as a “millimeter”.
Over the centuries, telescopes have evolved, but the telescope principle has been used to this day. Traditional optical telescopes are broadly divided into three categories according to the structure of the optical path.
The first type of refracting telescope is the oldest of them all, and the telescope of the Galileo era a few hundred years ago is not very different. This kind of telescope uses the refraction of light imaging principle, and most of the caliber is not large, astronomy enthusiasts often use the body of the slender telescope, which generally belongs to this category.
The second type of reflecting telescope uses the reflection of light imaging principle, it was first invented by Newton.
Since reflecting telescopes are cheaper to build with the same aperture, some of the optical astronomical telescopes we often see with larger apertures are often reflecting telescopes, such as the American Keck telescope and the international cooperative project Twin Telescopes.
The third type of refractor telescope combines refraction and reflection, in which light from celestial bodies is refracted and reflected at the same time in the telescope. Refractor telescopes can take into account the advantages of refractor telescopes and reflector telescopes, which are very suitable for astronomical observation and astrophotography and are also popular among astronomy enthusiasts. The near-Earth object telescope used to search for asteroids at the Purple Mountain Observatory is one of these telescopes.
Telescope maintenance
1, to ensure that the telescope is stored in a ventilated, dry, clean place to prevent mold, if possible, can be placed in the telescope around the desiccant, and often replaced.
2, For the lens on the residual dirty spots or stains, use a professional wipe gently wipe the mirror cloth, so as not to scratch the mirror, if you need to clean the mirror, should be used to account for a little alcohol on the degreasing cotton, from the center of the mirror in one direction to the edge of the mirror wipe test, and constantly replace the degreasing cotton ball until wipe test clean.
3, the telescope is a precision instrument, do not fall on the telescope, under heavy pressure, or do other strenuous actions.
4、Non-professionals should not try to disassemble the telescope and clean the inside of the telescope by themselves.
5、Do not collide with sharp objects, such as iron nails, needles, etc.
6, use the telescope to pay attention to moisture, and waterproof. As a precision instrument, try to avoid using the telescope under harsh conditions.
