Beautiful Gift Wrapping Ideas

Ever seen a beautiful gift wrap? And you’ve been trying to think of how to put your own stamp on wrapping your gifts? Well, here are some great suggestions that will make our Christmas and other special occasions even more fabulous. You can also use these innovative ideas as stocking stuffers or party favors.

1) Window Drawer: Place the wrapped items in a window pane of an open door, drawer, or cabinet just above eye level. Next, bind towels around the sides of the item and drape them over the front for a dress-like presentation.

2) The Box Method: This one is easy and inexpensive to try out if you only need minor decoration on your gift box. Wrap your gift boxes in pretty, seasonal paper and secure them with a bow. Add your ribbon, pine cones, or other decoration inside the box before you wrap it.

3) Framing: This is one of my favorites because I discovered that decorative, inexpensive frames could be used to present gifts. You can use premade frames for this or make your own from wrapping paper and cardboard. Use a combination of colors to give it some style and pizzazz. When you’re done, add a bow on the front.

4) Tissue Paper: You can use any kind of tissue paper to wrap your gift but make sure that you have enough. You can roll the tissue paper up and then tie a big ribbon around it to give it volume.

5) Paper Chain: If you want to add some color and sparkle, try creating a paper chain using colorful wide cellophane tape. Just cut it into strips about four inches long and adhere them end to end like links in a chain. Then tuck one end into one side of your box or bag and down into the other side so that they meet at the bottom center.

6) Sporty Wrapping: Use tape to secure the bow to the box. Then attach one end of a pair of wide elastic bands to each side of the bow. Finally, wrap the box in crinkled wrapping paper and tie a ribbon around it.

7) Cellophane: You can use this to create two layers of gifts in one presentation or wrap just one layer. If you are using a plain cellophane gift bag, be sure to place a tag inside before you put your gift inside so that it is easy for your customers or acquaintances to identify their gifts when they want them back.
