Basic Accessories Of Computers
Nowadays, the computer has become a necessary electronic product in every household. Almost everyone knows that computers work well, but how much do people know about their accessories? Here are some brief introductions.
The interior of a computer host is generally composed of accessories such as the motherboard, CPU, memory, hard disk, graphics card, power supply, and optical drive.
1. Motherboard: The motherboard is generally a rectangular circuit board on which the main circuit systems that make up the computer are installed. Generally, there are BIOS chips, I/O control chips, keyboard and panel control switch interfaces, indicator light connectors, expansion slots, DC power supply connectors for motherboards and cards, and other components. It is the basic structure of computer structure.
2. CPU: Processor for short. The CPU is divided into single-core and multi-core processing. It is equivalent to the human brain, analyzing problems and processing problems. There are two types of home computer platforms, AMD and Inter. Whether the computer is fast or not, the CPU plays a decisive role.
3. Memory stick: Temporary data storage area, which is often called by software and system files. Although memory also has the function of storing data, it only temporarily stores some data for use by the CPU, so memory is one of the important accessories that determine the speed of computer hardware.
4. Hard disk: a carrier for storing data. The size of the hard disk capacity has little to do with the running speed of the computer, it mainly plays the role of storing data.
5. Graphics card: divided into integrated and independent graphics cards. If your CPU has a built-in integrated graphics card, you can consider not buying a discrete graphics card separately when installing the machine. However, in terms of performance, in general, a discrete graphics card is more reliable.
6. Optical drive: a necessary device for reading optical disc data. Its function is not only to read optical disc data but also to write data into the optical disc if it has a burning function.
